Hello, I'm Mike B.

I was born in June 1966 and grew up in this very house, I have always been slightly eccentric..... so my friends tell me ha ha, Why the 1950s you may ask ?? Well... the house was built in 1951- 52 and my parents mainly had thing from that era as like my nan and grandad did, so my memory's as a child had all these amazing items in the house at the time, so there my interest started. My passion is my house and creating the past to a high level of detail, I'm always looking for new items to add to the house, I restore everything myself and research every detail of an item, even down to the colour of paint used at the time to create the perfect representation of the 1950s. I also have a Royal Enfield motorbike and love spending the summer days blasting around the country lanes on, Its a 650cc twin and takes me and my wife to many amazing places where we end up looking for items for the house, it never stops....
